...yeah, it's not bad. I believe it's the only 1/18 XLR available.
Great shots - they create a terrific 'mood' and the Caddy looks terrific!
In the early 2000s, a good friend of mine wanted to get a Corvette. He's not really a car guy or an auto enthusiast. With that being the case, I explained to him that I thought a Corvette would be inappropriate for his automotive tastes and that he'd find it a bit too hard-edged for him. Instead, he should consider the more plush Cadillac version of the Corvette, the XLR. At the time, he lived in Illinois and found an XLR he liked in Texas. He bought it and had it shipped to him.
My friend LOVED that car! He said people always walked up to him and wanted to talk about it because they'd never seen a car like that. He kept it for many years until he replaced it with a BMW I8.
I wish I knew that model existed when he had his XLR. Had I known, I would have purchased it and painted it to match his 1:1 car.
Alas, that "design language" employed by Cadillac just wasn't my cuppa tea. Nice model, nevertheless.
I have the model in black. Never cared for the 1/1 but I did like the retractable hardtop.
"...but I did like the retractable hardtop."
Which was a bit involved... and fun to watch - but nothing you could do a light. 😫
