When 4th-Gen Camaros hit the market, it was quite the event. Today, these are almost forgotten - what can I say, it is what it is.... This black 2002 is a Welly, while the 1996 red convertible (in the background ) is an Ertl. The Welly is OK, but if there was ever a candidate for a wheel upgrade... 🤔 🤔 🤔
PS
...pardon the dust. 😒 😫
I never warmed up to this series of Camaros
@john3976 ...you can't modify a 1/18 Ertl 1996? I believe it's as close as you can come in 1/18.
PS
...once again, please pardon the dust.
@rich-sufficool ...yes, but because it's a Welly, the tops are:
1) Not removable.
2) Not clear or even tinted, they're just black plastic. 😫 😫
I'd always heard these called the catfish Camaros because of the front-end design.😲
For a Welly it was reasonably priced. Kay - Bee had lots of them.

HA! KB Toys may have sold hundreds of them; I got mine for free. I check secondary-market values the other day.... These are all going for more than $100 now. Crazy!
@grockwood Wow... "MIB" Nice, and it looks great in blue! 😎 😎
As I noted: I've had - but ignored - this model for many years. I literally dusted it off for my post, buy am very surprised to learn of all the liveries and current values. Cool! 😀 😀
