I have some 1/18 replicas that are still at my storage unit, but ones I have come across an old snap I took years ago. This is a Jada model of the then new Camaro. It was a very inexpensive diecast, but nicely done.

@grockwood JADA  did a good job tooling the Camaro concept - that I believe appeared in 2006 (??? )

The proportions look right, everything opens, and the fit & finish isn't bad.    The only real drawback is that the front wheels are not posable - there's no steering.      But of course, that could be fixed.  😏 😏

The best 1/18 2010-'11 Camaros I've ever seen are by Dealer Edition.    I still regret not buying a few when they were $59.99 - today, they go for hundreds.  😬 😬 😬

Chris, I've never heard of Dealer Edition. How many different models did they produce ?

"I've never heard of Dealer Edition. How many different models did they produce?"

I have about 20 or so, mostly American makes from 1994-2024, but I'd guess Dealer Edition  produces 150- 200 different models.   Most of their 1/18 diecast offerings are highly detailed, full function replicas with above average fit & finish.   I like them very much.

Here's a small sample of mine:

@chris

I found them at LiveCarModel and was surprised at the number of models available. They have a large selection of 1/12 & 1/16 shown. I haven't seen many 1/16 models since Tonka / Polistoy ? I had two models back in the late 80's probably from KayBee. Is Dealer Edition the actual manufacturer or are they just re-branding ?  Congrats and thanks for all the pics !

I'm not entirely sure, but it's safe to assume they have "considerable pockets,"  as they hold MANY licensing rights.   They seem to replicate practically every vehicle manufacture in several scales.  👍

@chris

I noticed that real quickly. I was surprised at the number of Hyundai models that were available. Not sure if that would ever be a model I would want.
