Here is the beautiful 1937 Cord convertible in a cigarette cream color, as done really nicely by Ertl in 1/18 some years ago. I have this car in 1/43 and blue, also, although the red, top-up shown here is actually in Signature's 1/32 line. The Cord was quite an automobile in 1937 and they still would turn heads !

A beautifully designed car. Too bad that it was the last hurrah for ACD.

This Ertl  Cord is much better than collectors realize. When compared to Signature's  Cord, which looks good, Ertl's  replication of the FWD driveline is spot on. Apparently, Signature  didn't know or didn't care. Ertl also tooled an up-top.

The Cords are great-looking cars in any color, although my Ertl Cord doesn't have a top-up option with it. It looks like a really neat feature here.
