This is a older Solido model of a 1947 Chevrolet truck. Originally, it was a Pennzoil tank truck, but I modified it into a pickup.

Thanks, Bob. These Chevrolet/GMC trucks from that era definitely have a "1940's vibe" about them. Highway 61, of course, also did such a fine job with their 1941 GMC stakebed and firetruck editions in the 1/16 series.

great creativity in both the modification of the pick-up box and the photo presentation, I really enjoyed this and thank-you for you sharing.

Thanks. I didn't realize that Solido also made this one .......... as a pickup, too ! Oh well, it was a fairly quick and fun mod anyway.
