Here are are some 1966 - 1967 Dodge Charger automobile diecast models ..... 2 from Yat Ming and one from Ertl Authentics. They are all very nicely done and both display and photograph exceptionally well. These diecasts were much requested some years ago and both YM and Authentics responded with these very cool diecast replicas. I am happy to have these terrific 1/18 cars.
Nice pics Mike. I had and preferred the YM as I didn’t like the “A” pillar on the ERTL.
your usual fantastic shots! I like the 'mood' each one sets with different backgrounds.

That's interesting... when comparing Mike's pics, they look about the same to me. What didn't you like about them? 🤔 🤔 🤔
To me they look overly wide on the ERTL. And this “might” be an issue with you but I also thought that the tires were tucked too far in. Oh oh, did I just open up a can of worms? 🤣
I don’t have the “skill set” to measure model dimensions to compare to the 1:1 so I may be way off here but those two issues kept me from getting the ERTL Charger.

Have you seen the Authentics diecast automobile in person and done any measurements of it's configuration ?
To be honest I tend to look a bit skeptically on negative judgements based only on photograph seen on-line. I can confirm a certain hoodscoop on a particular replica was adjusted to have a scoop 1/3 wider than it's actual 1:1 configuration....... and not one person over time has ever mentioned a discrepancy there. Just a test to see possible negative conclusions based on a picture.
