@geno I have always been a bit surprised that GM took the basic taillight design of the '66 GTO and transferred it to the '67 Firebird. In that era of significant yearly design changes you didn't see much of that. I had a mint low mileage '67 Firebird which I foolishly sold (huge regrets) in 1980 for the then very decent price of $3300. I then turned around and bought a '77 Malibu Classic 2drht.....so dumb! Lol.
@jack-dodds A friend of mine just picked up a red with white interior '68 Firebird 400. It needs work but not bad.😊
An older friend took pity on me, one Saturday, and loaned me his dark Green Firebird 400, with a black vinyl roof. My current flame was one village away and I was only sixteen and had no wheels, so he handed me the keys, along with this warning: 'If you even get a scratch on it just head west, and know the hounds of hell will be on your tail.' I took him at his word and returned the Firebird in pristine condition. I loved the car.
Lol, that is a warning to pay attention to ! (driving such a Pontiac and the young lady seated in it would be worth such a risk !
)
