Here is Yat Ming's 1/18 diecast of the good-looking Plymouth Barracuda for1969. In this case, I installed some aftermarket wheels I had purchased. The Barracuda was  a really attractive and strong car for '69 and the next year would see a re-design and even more of an already good thing !

No kidding.... The '70 was / is a styling masterpiece IMO !!!!!!

There's not a single line or curve that doesn't belong on that absolutely drop dead beautifully designed body style...💓

I do like the '67-'69 also and am glad that they were available in 3 body styles like the Mustangs of those years.

My fav is the coupe for its beautiful roofline.

P.S. I love the wheel change ! Great choice !

Thanks ! All the Plymouth Barracudas are very cool automobiles and all make for excellent diecast replicas.

Great photos and work Mike!  The Barracuda styling wasn't one of my favorite designs, but your photos and the model make it a great collectible for sure.

Thanks, George ! The following year 1970 the Plymouth Barracuda was to get it's own unique styling quite unconnected with a Plymouth Valiant design variant.

And, to me, the '70 is the best looking Muscle Car ever designed !!

Every line, crease, fold and whatever are perfectly designed.

The Challenger wasn't bad either...but the 'cuda was #1.

Just compare the '70 Barracuda to the '70 Mustang and the '70 Camaro/Firebird....

Yeah in my opinion the Camaro and the Firebird were beautiful, however the Barracuda styling beat them hands down !!!

And ALWAYS will...

I like them all, although perhaps for various reasons, so I don't have an individual favorite. They each have have strong points and the engines among the various Dodge, Plymouth, Ford, Mercury, Chevrolet and Pontiac pony cars were all awesome examples of V-8 power.

WOW!  These are all great pictures. But the last, with the spotlight shining down on the brick wall, as a backdrop is exceptional.

Thanks ! You don't see too many of this years actual 1:1 Barracuda cars in the flesh, so to speak.

That's my favorite Barracuda body style. I don't remember ever seeing those graphics before. But, then again, I was 12,000 miles away in that time frame of '68-'71. BTW: the wheels look great!

Thank you ! These Barracudas in their original Valiant-born guise look great and I am glad YM did them in 1/18 form. The aftermarket wheels went on in a straight-forward manner, I recall. You don't see so many of this car in real 1:1 form, so it is good to have in scale form.
