(PICS) A few more (what I consider to be) Stunning 1/18 resin only models
First of all: Bos-Models' '57 Buick Caballero alongside a 1/43 Neo version. Both Bos-Models and Neo are from the same parent company.
For some reason, the Buick Caballero is one of my favorite American vehicles from the '50s.
Next: Neo's '57 Jaguar mark 8. This model has been redone in black/beige by Bos-Models at less than 1/2 the price of the Neo version.
And also: Neo's '74-'78 Daimler Double Six
And finally: Minichamps 1939 Delage Cabriolet

Wow Cliff, those are terrific looking models. The Delage is just gorgeous !
I've always liked that Daimler. Here in the states I remember it as a Jaguar. Thanks for all the great pics.

negligent quality control despite the price.

The dealer replaced it with a different serial number, but it had the same problem - oh well.
I suspect the material thickness is not sufficient, therefore the foil (with the printed frames) pulls inwards.

Nice Buicks! Too bad they didn't make the 1:18 with the windows down.
Perhaps you could very carefully cut them out with an X-Acto knife.

Barry, I've certainly given that one some thought in the last year. or so......
My only stumbling block is that AE will no longer ship to Canada.
I wind up having to order from their parent company in Germany and, although the prices are similar, the shipping would be twice the price of the car. I'll probably eventually get one but only when I'm purchasing something that can combine shipping.

Barry, Whew!! I just found one on Ebay (Germany) with reasonable shipping....
Thanks for getting me off my butt to purchase one. There aren't many blue/white ones available anymore, so it was timely.
