PICS: CMC Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 GS
Here are some shots of a prototype for the Alfa 1750-- which looks ready for production to me. There appear to be lots of variations on the bodywork, but this one looks to be dead on for the car driven by Nuvolari to win the 1930 Mille Miglia-- which will follow soon. Typical CMC-- 1800 parts and not one out of place or any trace of adhesive. As you can see, EVERYTHING opens; you can unbuckle the top straps and lift the bows but I don't think it will it will unfold-- I didn't try to force it. Sane for the windscreen-- the wingnuts can be loosened but the glass doesn't seem to fold. Everything else-- hood latches (3 per side-- , doors, multi-leaf metal springs, etc., etc, works as per the real thing. Check the engine and chassis detail for yourself. It's apparently based on the car in the Italian museum-- note the Automobilisimo Storico graphics.

Beyond beautiful.
Now that's a model car - In definitiva bello
.
x3!!
Yum, yum, however my car budget is just about at its max for the year.
It will be nice.................
and I am happy to see these ugly headlight covers will be removable.
I have the bare metal MB SSKL LE of the same period and it is one of the favorite in my CMC collection. There is also an unpainted version coming for this Alfa.
It is sad no more Ferrari will come from CMC but I am always looking with the greatest interest to each of these wonderful models to come.
The Talbot Lago should be stunning.
