PICs - From My Collection: '49 Cadillac 1949 Cadillac Series 62 Sedanette Club Coupe, NEO Scale Models
I got this beauty a few months ago but haven't had a chance to appreciate it. Just took it out of the box for these shots. A very nice model. Unfortunately, I discovered that it was missing a wheel cap. I sent an email to American Excellence's Customer Service, and Carla was a gem. She is sending me out a replacement. Great customer service. Unlike SunStar, which I have never heard from.

Your front wheels are falling apart as mine was......
I returned the model and declined a replacement.
It is a nice image I was expecting a lot from. Overall, not worth the money......Sorry.

I don't think they are. When they are straight they look perfect.
They are not loose. It just seems to have the tilt when turned. Since no model is perfect-no matter the price or manufacturer. I accept them for what they are. This is an image that I had to have, so it is what it is. I am incredibly pleased with it, and will welcome any other American cars NEO chooses to do in this scale.

The " tilt " is a serious camber and toe out problem............
on a model in this price range that has steerable front wheels as the only feature.
I sent detailed pictures to NEO before I return the model and they agreed there was a problem about assembly and quality control. The wheels were also very loose on their hubs and there was no screws under the center hubcaps to fix the issue.
From your pictures, yours is exactly the same as mine was. You just accept it the way it is.
No matter the image, I am not going crazy about resin. The casting are mostly very thick and rough in some spots and the paint job is very thin on some edges. It is the same observations in 1/24 scale from the pictures I saw.

Wow. Best photos of this one I've seen yet.
Of any of the resins out there, I'm tempted to get this one. Just stunning.
