This model, in spite of its minor flaws, was a real achievement for Sun Star. Still looks great.

I like it.. at least the windshield isn't scrunched down! Come on Chris, give it up..
now I'm curious as to the flaw/flaws. I always look forward to your reviews. And I thank-you for taking the time to research and post the results.

Luv that color. The '56 Lincoln Premiere was one of most elegant cars of the 50s, imo.

The original boot was very large, it looks like they changed it. Fabulous model, hard top is a must too.

Well, I love this model too and the true the windshield is not crushed down but..........
...
1) The original boot was way too tall........Sun Star did fix this and later versions had a lower boot.
2) Front wheel track is way to narrow.
3) Tires are the correct size but rims and wheelcovers are closer to 1/24 than 1/18. They're way too tiny. To compensate (fill the space) the whitewalls are wider than they should be.
4) Wipers, although cool (functional), are way out of scale.
Again, all these problems are "livable" and certainly not deal breakers. Heck I have 5 of these models. It's just unfortunate SS couldn't go the extra "2 feet."

I forgot about the boot and it's too bad about the wipers. I have the peach/coral with white up top.
