(Pics) Mid century modern - Dodge

Dodge's '59 Custom Royal Lancer was as modern as the future in the eyes of many at the time. No thoughts of bland, boring jellybean vehicles here !

I'm of two minds about this model

It seems bent in the middle somehow, something just seems off to me which is why I haven't pulled the trigger on one. Looks good otherwise.

I'd rather have a '59 Pontiac. Beautiful pics Mike.

Stephen, there's plenty wrong & we've critique it to death. But it is a 1/18 '59 Dodge!

Mike made it look about as good as possible.

More stunning photos. They make the model look really good.

Which takes a lot for this model. I ordered a hdtp when it was first announced, I was incredibly disappointed so it went back. I haven't considered it again. I'll stick with my 1:43 versions.

Lot's of cool details. It's a 1959 Dodge after all ! So it is worth taking a look at in person, if possible.

In 1/43 scale, Neo makes a series of beautiful versions of this dreamboat that are worth checking out, too.
