This is so cool ... I'm learning so much from Josh & Marlowe ... so
Who else has got goodies to share ??
Come on people ...
Great shots, very controversial car, away from the internal combustion engine which polarized the racing community at the time, some people hated it but I think it was part of the innovative era that was most likely the best time for most racing from drag racing to Indy cars to road racing. the 60's and 70's were a special time.
There you go Dennis, lets egg them on!
My Holy Grail, Marlowe.
Ever since I screwed up the front "flame" decal on the MPC 1/20 model, I yearned for this and was so happy to finally get it when Replicarz came out with it. I only wish they had made the rear wing functional.
So Josh .... What exactly is that power plant ????
The turbine engine cars are coming in my continuing Indy car posts, I have a good store on this one and the wedge design cars too but they were so restricted it made them uncompetitive.
I bet that sucker pulled hard and went through tires like mad!
