Just another one of the dishonest tiny percentage of sellers out there playing games. You would have to assume that any persons purchasing from such obvious scammers would sadly be of some sort of diminished mental ability or similar medical problems, which makes these sellers even more despicable. I wonder how they are able to look in the mirror!
@jack-dodds agreed, now I am not a perfect seeker cost wise, but I found this at Walmart for $97.00. I'm not even sure if that is a good price sadly.
It seems like a pretty reasonable price to me if the mileage is low…oop’s, thought it was a real car, sorry, my bad!
@modeldadeeee It sure sounds high; especially for WalMart, but usually it's the ridiculous shipping charges that the ebay weasels charge. Makes you think they're based in Antarctica!
@kevins LOL....that's about it Kevin! 😆
If you like it and it makes you happy, everything else can become secondary. Use your best judgment.
@michaeldetorrice I can see me pushing for the Walmart price at most lol.
@chris I think it was the shipping charges that were being pointed out in the post, while I know shipping right now is higher from across the pond those seem a little on the very high side.
Yes i was only referring to the shipping
If the first post was from eBay.co.uk, this is what we face when trying to buy from our friends on the island. Also, if the seller only uses eBay to ship you have to remember eBay collects the tax and they inflate the shipping cost. I know what it costs to ship from and to different parts of the world and even though eBay charges the seller fees on shipping, they are double-dipping, by profiting on the actual shipping cost, as well. Shipping from Germany, through DHL, is still very reasonable in the face of the rising costs we are seeing. I just shipped a 15kg box of mannequin heads for 20Euros inside the country, and sent another two heads to Austria for 22Euros. Try sending a model from the USA, or the UK for that amount.
If ebay didn't take their percentage of the entire amount (purchase price and shipping amount) then of course the item listed would be sold cheap along with a huge shipping amount to balance things out. The punters would figure this procedure out in record time and ebay would go broke very quickly. The current ebay practice that bugs the hell out of me is their international shipping scam; where they won't allow combined shipping price reductions. Obviously this generates many more millions of dollars for them. I stopped buying from sellers who use this ebay service and often email them to explain. Many of them were unaware that many customers like myself simply don't buy from such sellers; they never gave it much thought.

"HEEEY GDH....I get what yer sayin' about the head shipping costs and all that but this dumb broad sure don't; she got a head thick as plaster I tell ya."
