Marty, Marty, Marty! How can it be pretty close to perfection with no cup holders? HA!
WOW, Marty! I have to agree my friend; if it lacks the claim to being perfect, I don't see where! As Tony K used to say about his models - Furious Details! This one has it by the pound! Gorgeous Jag!
Breath-taking detail.
I'm sure there's something not quite right....... somewhere, but it may take weeks or months to find it. As I said years ago, this replica would render any collector speechless.
Also, I must add....
I had to good fortune to see this very replica, along with Marty's entire, beautifully presented, mostly high-end collection in person literally one week ago. It was my distinct pleasure to not only visit Marty but also stay in the well-appointed guest quarters of his lovely California home.
Marty was a gracious host and an OUTSTANDING tour guide. To re-cap all that we saw & did could consume an entire forum!
My only regret is that I (we ) did not have time to set-up an informal "mutual interview" at the Beverly Hills Hotel or Mission Inn. I truly believe MANY of you would thoroughly enjoy "a half-hour with Marty."
He's in a league of his own. I consider it an honor to not only know him, but also regard him as a dear friend.
NOTE TO MARLOWE: If this embarrasses you... "Tuff, it needed to be said!" 😏 😏 😏
Oh yeah, nice Jaguar model!
Warm and welcome reading! (Especially your NOTE TO MARLOWE). That's the very best benefit of this terrific hobby - its fantastic people!
absolutely incredible model. Amazing that it can be torn down to pretty much the chassis and engine. Thanks for the detail shots, Marty.

YES! I keep forgetting to point this out... there's ONLY a handful of models, regardless of price-point, in which a "scale teardown" is even possible, pretty damn cool, right? 😎 😎 😎
But no sooner do you turn your back, it's already up on blocks.
Yep! It happened to me twice...... 😔 😔 😔
I view those pics in absolute disbelief! And one of my all time favorite cars too. Thanks Marty
Thanks Chris. You confirmed what I have always suspected about Marty being a class act. As Tony acknowledges, the best benefit of this hobby is the people.
I have always suspected about Marty being a class act.
Yes sir, without question. If he fooled me, then he's the greatest actor who's ever lived! 😀 😀
I was trying to imagine just how long it took just to get the assembly line up and running and all the jigs that had to be built to insure proper and consistent placement of all the myriad of tiny parts. That's an outstanding replica and one to be admired. I imagine everyone involved were highly skilled laborers.
