Plymouth, Pontiac and Oldsmobile made some of the most iconic muscle cars in the mid 1960's to the early 1970's and all three makes are gone now.

Harry Gant Drove an Oldsmobile Cutlass in Winston Cup and in the Bush series he drove a Buick in 1991.

I fondly recall watching Harry Gant winning frequently in his Skoal Bandit!  Whenever he would be complimented on his amazing driving by commentators/interviewers he would humbly reply that he was a better carpenter than racer.  Lol.  A class act.

Yes that was the way Harry Gant was and still is today, he will still tell you he is a better carpenter than a racer.

Thank you John, for these great video's and memories.  I'd like to add that Mercury met the same fate, and they too had some fun Muscle in the late 60's and in to the 70's.

George,

I don't have a Mercury or I would have included one in the post.
