"Lucky Strike Means Fine Tobacco" Here's one of the last cigarette sponsored race cars. The Tyrrell-Ford 004 #26 driven by Eddie Keizan. This car was purchased from Tyrrell Racing by Alex Bignaut to race in the 1973 and 1974 South African F1 and the SA Grand Prix. It was built in 1972 for Jackie Stewart as a works car for the '72 FIA Formula 1 World Championship Season.
Model by Exoto.
@franklemire I've got a couple of Porsches lacking "Rothman's" livery too.
Great selection of cigarette liveries on some wonderful cars. Thanks for sharing Rich and Frank.
Frank, I have that JPS Lotus and the XJR-LM in Tamiya built kits. Are these ones you show diecast or from kits?
@david-green These are diecast. The Jaguar is an Exoto, the Lotus is from True Scale and the McLaren is from Minichamps.
I also have a Porsche 956 from PMA that I had to add livery to
Interesting that nobody seems to have any problem with Martini livery
Thanks Frank. I have the Exoto Castrol #60 24 Hours of Daytona XJR-9 but not the Le Mans one.
Love it. Most of my collection is 1/43 (I have 1923 to 2018 completed) due to space but I can't resist some 1/18th scale stuff.
Nice 1977 and 1982 Winning Porsches also.
