I ran the video at 2x speed so that 32 minutes is condensed to 16 minutes. Â
Thanks Marty 😀 .......................I`m halfway thru this video, and seeing "wouldn`t believe it if I hadn`t seen it" stuff EVERY few seconds.....like watching a great sleight-of-hand magician make the impossible happen right before your eyes
your 2x speed suggestion is a lifesaver
Using PVC with it's ability to be welded and ease of chasing and polishing is such a cool idea. I would never have thought of using it. It offers an interesting alternative to sheet styrene.
Yep! That's how you do it! His "hinge work"Â is to be commended. I also like the use of those "mini motors"Â acting vertical lathes...nice! Sadly, this will, one day, be a lost art. As 3-D printers, software & programs become increasingly popular and far less cost prohibited, "model fabrication"Â Â in the future will connote an entirely different meaning.Â
Cool video Marty, thanks for posting.
@rich-sufficool I've used PVC before too.... easy to cut/shape, glues up nice...and it's cheap! 😀
WOW!!! Amazing work.  I can’t get over some of the skills that some people have. Mind blowing really and I didn’t really notice till almost the end that this Bus is very small!!!  Maybe 1:43 or smaller breath taking craftsmanship here
