Nice John, very neat & tidy. In my case, just multiply this wall by 4, add 3 showcases, then add about 35 cars in separate showcases like you featured...then add a work table, diorama wall and a book case. Oh yeah, and hang 1/64 cars (& other "stuff" ) from the ceiling. No gift shop yet...🙄 🙄 🙄Â
@marty-johnson Very clean & organized! I can't believe you let your wife workout with her treadmill so close to your impressive collection.

At one time I had over 350 diecast 1:18 cars. A few years back I sold 96 of them and gave away 97 of them, now I have 157 of them and replaced the ones gone I started collecting 1:43, which in the past 3 years now equals 41 cars. I have 2 cases that are supposed to hold 24 cars 1:18 and does if you like them bumper to bumper and only compact or sports cars, so I only put 18 in a case. I have one 10 car case, one 6 car case, two 4 car cases, and 105 individual Pioneer Plastic cases
@brush "...gave away 97 of them..." 😬 😬 😬Â
Are you Santa Clause?
12 [10 being boys] grandkids & charitable contributions & gifts to friends.
Absolutely fantastic displays! Kudo's everyone for your incredible collections. I see so many cars that I've always wanted in 1:24 scale, and certainly makes me want to be on the 1:18 bandwagon more than I've been over the decades. I have 20 models in 1:18 scale and do see myself adding more. Two I've recently added to my collection are ACME's '49 Mercury in Atlantic Blue and Auto World's '56 Chrysler New Yorker in Turquoise/Black/White. Â

@georgeschire You got that backwards George....  it's Autoworld's (formerly Ertl) 1949 Mercury and ACME's 1956 Chrysler. Both are excellent models; your Chrysler is far superior of course, but that 1949 Mercury is still VERY nicely done despite the fact that the tooling is probably over 35 years old. Line for line, that "old Ertl" is proportionally scaled perfectly.Â
These 1/18s can multiply like rabbits!  Consider yourself warned! 😬 😬 😬Â
