Thanks for all the great photos. It's somewhat ironic, that after being dropped from the Le Mans GT40 development program by Ford in favor of Shelby, John Wyer gave Ford two Le Mans wins with a GT40.
I'm always amazed at how the people who make diecasts can get something like the rear track of that car so wrong.
Most will not notice it............
I really think that the track issue was a case of a lack of coordination when the pieces of the car were laid out for manufacture. If you look at the way the front suspension & wheel pieces fit together as opposed to the rear I think you will see what I mean.
In any case, for those who cannot live with it, it can be fixed with a bit of effort - you just have to be willing to take the car apart...LOL

I was expecting a bit more conversation about this model but I guess the race car collectors out there have already made up their mind about it.
