Signature or Anson.... ? They both produced some great, great 30s models !
It's an Anson (released now under Autoworld ). It's a very good photo that makes this 1/18 V-16 1932 Cadillac look MUCH nicer than it really is.
Really nice Cadillac and a fine image of it, too. It will be gleaming when these two are finished!
Thanks Chris. Now I kind of wish I hadn't sold any of those. I forgot how much work went into manufacturing them and they do look really good.
While Anson may be short of details, their models were always true to the proportions of the 1/1. Owning a 1/1 1963 Thunderbird Sports Roadster I can testify as to the overall look of the model and that it is a home run. True that the engine compartment is that of an inexpensive model and the trunk is hinged as a hardtop rather than a convertible but the model displays wonderfully.
@bob-jackman Yep! I have several Ansons for just that reason.... they're full function (all opens ) and IN SCALE! With regard to that '63 Thunderbird... yes, they goofed the trunk on the convertible but why they omitted a tire on that chrome spare rim was always a mystery to me. Perhaps it was a cost cutting move or it just didn't fit the space?
