Thank-You, Paul Normand, for pointing this model out to us earlier....it's great!!
On an earlier post, Paul brought Revell's 'COMPOSITE' Opel GSE to our (my) attention and the fact that the plastic-like body hadn't been very successful in appealing to the 'Diecast only' guys back in 2009.
I immediately found one on Ebay at a good price from China which included free shipping.
The model is lighter than diecast but the level of finish and detail is really great and the gaps are tighter than most 1/18 diecasts achieved.
I'm exceptionally pleased with the purchase and if other appealing vehicles were done with the same technology, I'd happily purchase them as well.
I took these pics as soon as the Opel arrived this afternoon
