Thank you for sharing how to embed a Rumble video, I was embedding the entire link and that just posted the link, I was unaware of the method you used, it takes me two steps but is worth it to have the video show up on the post instead of the link. 

To increase the resolution you still click on the gear icon on the bottom right side of the screen when the video starts to play just click on the resolution it is playing at and several higher resolutions will show up just pick the highest resolution for the best quality. Also that broken square icon on the same line as the gear icon will switch to full screen and at the highest resolution the video will be full screen showing more detail.
