Was this Porsche 935 actually a "Street Version"? Well, not really. It was a one off modified 934 built for the owner of TAG to look like the 935. It actually introduced the slant nose that this Exoto 935 variant (here in street clothes). Save for the pop up headlamps, it was a reasonable facsimile.
This Exoto Porsche 935/77 Slant Nose, unliveried, in DuPont Standox Chromillusion Avus Galaxy appears as it might be owned by a private team client in 1976 who went the extra yard to have this $30,000 finish applied. I love the way the color flops accentuate the lines.
Cool models of cars I don't collect... and only somewhat understand. 😉 😉 😉
@chris What's to understand? Kind of funny looking cars with a lot of advertising all over them that run around in circles until somebody waves a checkered flag. Cars that might technically be street legal but would never be used on the street - On second thought, I don't completely understand them either.
