Jaguar had to "lift"  styling cues from this 1953 Alfa Romeo C52 Disco Volante Coupe, right?      BTW:  This is a 1/18 resin Technomodel.

Disco 2
Disco 4
Disco 1
Disco 5
Disco 3
Disco 6

Lift? It's a rip-off! Highway robbery, I say!  Cool

Maybe they did.....but if so they did a masterful job of improving it.  Lol.

Certainly styling cues but the Alfa looks like a stuffed pig in comparison.

Mmm... A perfectly roasted pork shoulder is one of my favorite meals...

WOW!!! I've never seen this in 1/18 scale. I have a little 1/43 of this "Flying Saucer". Yours looks so much nicer.

Right!   I knew you'd chime in sooner or later....  it's a new release; however, if I hadn't seen your 1/43 years ago, I would've never even known about this Alfa Disco.    😎 😎

@chris That was many years ago when I was trying to find this alfa Disco Volante and the 3 Alfa B.A.T. cars by Bertone.

BAT 006
BAT 002
B.A.T. 016
B.A.T. 014
B.A.T. 017
B.A.T. 020
B.A.T. 015
B.A.T. 003
B.A.T. 005 001
B.A.T. 028

Some company was going to do these in 1/18 and I don't think it ever happened. The B.A.T. #9 is a relatively new resin. The other two are very old SMTS white metals.

"See what you probably missed."

I'm caught up now.    Makes me wonder if Technomodel  is considering those for future release - in 1/18.  🤔 🤔 🤔 🤔
