In 1964, Porsche unveiled their next generation sport coupe, the 901, at the Paris Auto Show. Peugeot immediately threatened to sue because they used a 3 number code for their models with a zero in the middle. Only 82 901s were already made before Porsche changed the model number to 911. The 911 series has evolved and exists to this day despite a few attempts by the company to replace it.

CMC's model of this car has an amazing number of features and details too numerous to list.

beautiful model & great color combo.  Love the houndstooth seats.

These were always just a bit out of my price range, so I picked up a Spark 901 when they were on sale.  Sealed resin, so not many details, but I'm fairly happy with it.

It's a Dodge Dynasty, that's why this thread's title made me think of it!

It was made for model years 1988 - 1993, built on a stretched version of the K-car chassis, and was a big sales success.
