The famed Ferrari 330P4 that battled Ford for FIA and overall dominance in motorsports. 4 of these 412Ps (or P3/P4) were built for privateers like Scuderia Filipinetti and the North American Racing Team. Two were made from existing 330P4s and two from repaired P3s. Given a slightly different body, the main difference is the 4.0 liter V12 was equipped with 6 Weber carburetors rather than fuel injection. Note the shrouds over the engine so the competition couldn't see the difference. Neither the Scuderia Filipinetti nor the NART entry finished at Le Mans. These are very old and inexpensive Jouef model. I have the berlinettas and spyders in both the 330P4 and 412P. I detailed the 330P4 #23 spyder as well as the #22 412P.
As always, you did a great job on all these detail-enhancements. Only after I looked closely did I realize you did NOT add that safety-tape to the headlights on #25 Chaulk one up for Jouef! 😎
@chris All the livery is water slides and they're so old they've yellowed, I had to carefully remove the exposed carrier film from around all the logos and scripts. They looked awful on the white bodied NART.
