In 1938, BMW's 328 roadsters easily took the 2.0 liter class at the grueling Italian Mille Miglia with overall placing 8th, 10th, 11th and 12th. Its ultra-lightweight design with tubular chassis and streamlined aluminum body allowed the 80HP 6 cylinder to propel it 0-60 in 8.8 sec. With only 464 units produced between 1936 and 1940, this roadster is rare and sought after today.

A great little model..... the two drivers in that open car must've been filthy after that race but man, what a thrill! 😎 😎
