I have my grandkids coming down just after Christmas. I set up my train sets for the twin boys, age 7. I have another old toy for my granddaughter, age 8 1/2.
Am I ready?

How cool! Looks GREAT Marty! Reminds me of the old Lionel that we had when I was a kid MANY, MANY moons ago. Looks to be the same scale; are they Lionel?

Beats the heck out of video games....lol.

Awesome to see! I hope they love it. 😀 😀 😀
My two grandkids are very bright in their own way but have ZERO interest in any parts of my collections. They're tied to video games & wrestling. My wife makes them "custom clothes" with embossed gaming logos, and I buy them V-Chip upgrades for their games.
Each of them, however, eats like me! 😋 😋 😋
Marty, that set-up looks FANTASTIC! And you did it "right." There should always be double tracks! 👍 👍 👍

that should keep them away from your modelcars, right ?

@perrone1 - Yes, Lionel! I had to buy another transformer so each child will have their own train to run!

@joop - All the models are in locked cases! Unless they get a hold of a hammer......

Perfect setup Marty. I agree with Chris about the double tracks. You are certainly ready for Christmas.

Since I live in Californa and have no basement, that means I have limited space and options to set up the tracks. Our living room is more decoration than functional utility, so the Big Boss is okay with me commandering it.

Marty,
It must be great to be limber enough to run those tracks around the furniture like that.
😉👍

....more than likely, one of the help set it up. Perhaps even his gardener. 😉

@100ford2003 - Limber enough? Ha! My back has most definitely expressed an entirely different opinion about my.... ahem.... alleged flexibility! I'm still applying ice!
