This Lane Exact Detail 1972 Olds 442 Aegean Aqua convertible was a numbered edition of 650. It was our first 1/18 club car. In 1972, the 442 was no longer a stand alone model but rather an option (W29) for the Cutlass Holiday. With the 300 HP 455 V8 (W30), you got rear bumper cut-outs for the trumpet exhaust tips. Olds never sold 650 of these convertibles as only 113 W30 convertibles were ever built.

Great pics Rich. I don't think I was a member of The Forum at that time or I didn't know about this model. What year was that Olds released ? I know I sure would have had to get one for my collection.

@rich-sufficool

I think back then I had just found the Diecast Zone and the Forums. I'm so thankful that I did.
