The Stingray before the Stingray [PIC}

The 1959 Stingray Racer XP-87 was designed and built by notable GM people like Peter Brock, Larry Shinoda, Bill Mitchell and Tony Lapine and raced in SCCA events.
This model is 20 years old and looks state of the art unless you want to drop $500-$600 on a CMC or Exoto.
This is the first model I can remember that the exhaust pipes were subtly "blued". It's also nice to see it shod with branded Goodyears.

Jada?!? No kidding. This one's AUTOart.

What are these going for? I really never check the market anymore.

OK. The vendor was Gateway Global for UT and all merged with AUTOart.

Gateway Global / UT was a lower cost division of AUTOart but ultimately all merged to AUTOart.
