Hmm Marty,

Hole in hood for blower motor, wheelie bars ‘n a drag chute and your fav graphiics ! That’d be a looker and we know you can pull this off 👍💪

- Ha!  If I do anything, it won't that radical.  I'll probably just swap out the wheels as I showed in this photo.

Convert one into the '54 Von Esser Panamericana Corvette. I did that with a 1/24 '53.

That's some darn good impressive work you did, right there!  Very nice, indeed!

@marty-johnson That's the Danbury Mint model that was the result of my conversion. Mine has no top. The only inaccuracy on mine is the #12 roundel is too large. When I posted mine here, I got a call from the Corvette guy at DM who asked me to send it to them and then took a deeper dive into researching the original. I got some great stories from Von Esser's niece but the only thing we could never confirm was  any changes to the Blue Flame 6. I lucked out being able to kit--bash a Revell kit and only had to make exhaust extensions, buy some aftermarket cast wire wheels and the mesh grill screen.
