Just got electric back on, no damage for us we where on the south side of the Hurricane which is normally the most powerful side, Milton due to a front with shear pushed most of the rain to the north side of the storm making it worse on the north side, we had to pretty good winds whipping us and some trees were snapped in the area and wide spread electric loss. Over all our area faired better than those to the north of us.

Glad you're safe and all is well!
All good news John, glad you're safe. Of the 3 folks I know in FL, they're all OK too, but my heart goes out to those who were far less fortunate.
I'm glad to hear all of our friends on The Zone are okay. I've gotten "All is well" reports from my friends in Florida, too! It looks like as bad as it was, it wasn't as bad as was expected. Thank goodness the state dodged a bullet.
Thanks to all for the well wishes and the caring.
Hurricanes are something we have to deal with in Florida, two years ago we were hit by hurricane Ian and had damage, we recovered from Ian after it sat just off Sanibel Island for hours hammering Ft. Myers Beach, Sanibel Island, Pine Island, Cape Coral and Ft. Myers before finally moving onto land just 20 miles north of us in Charolette County.
Again thank you all and stay safe.
