The reviews are a combination of reviewer purchased models and sample provided models. I try to remember to state when a model is a sample vs. one I've purchased in my reviews.

For me, a combination of slow product releases from the companies whose models I collect and increased prices has made me more selective on what I add and keep in my collection.

With certain models, multiple reviewers may acquire (either through purchase or sample) a particular model, but we only need one person to photograph and review.

Manufacturer sample models have also been fewer and far between compared to several years ago.

Repaints, re-issues, different numbered cars also contribute to fewer reviews, as we typically only need one review for a particular release unless there are material differences, or a reviewer happens to purchase another version and decides to publish images or separate review.

Additionally, for me, my interest has waned somewhat as I've become increasingly busy with work and a growing family, to which I know many of you can relate! Our family also relocated and it is in the middle of a long process of packing up and unpacking these delicate models, of which the unpacking is nowhere near complete!

Well, I guess I could say that

I am trying to "review" a model whenever I post snaps of it here on the Forums.

LOL, since I only buy models I really like, my "reviews" are always essentially positive and would be meant for someone to use the photos as an encouragement to go check out a replica for themselves.

...and of course your photos are always very much appreciated! As is anyone else that is willing to share! I know we have a number forum members who share periodically on here with some amazing photos, write ups, and reviews.

I was hoping Legacy would step up and provide models for review. I'd think it would serve...

... their financial interest in the form of more sales. After all, there is a symbiotic relationship between Legacy, The Zone, and the Fora. In lieu of that, I wonder if it makes sense to REPOST old reviews? I think it would stimulate some conversation and participation.

Could we maybe include a few pictures of the subject car thus keeping it for sale at or above retail because we provided the Pictures of the announcement car. those pix are worth something thus the "Beauty Shots go with the subject car? Ideas anyone? I'm a serious collector and find myself losing interest in collecting, I have bought several cars this year as I just gave Michelle a list to ship as they came in so I have been getting one about every two weeks. Michelle's Boxes are brown but they bring a smile when I turn in the driveway & see one sitting on the porch.

Michelle has had several sales too to generate interest and savings to us too. Thank You so much makes the wallet last a little longer.
