I would go with the Italian.  I had the Cord at one time and sold it.

I will take the Alfa too

That black one looks like a Lancia Asura although the grill normally has a central vertical chrome split. I see now that it must be an Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B which looks virtually the same. While I love the Cord, I'd take the Italian, whichever it is, in a heartbeat.

The Alfa is much more elegantly styled.

I’ll take the Cord.

I'm going with the Cord although both have their weak points. The weak point with the Cord is it's shift mechanism and the weak point with the Alfa is that it's Italian.

Love the American classics but the styling of the Alfa Romero is timeless.

How did I miss this 2 years ago? 😒  I am an Alfanut so I'll go with the black beauty.  It's interesting to see that they are both '37s.  A fun comparo!
