Fun Fact: The name "Alvis" was derived from "AL"=aluminum and "vis"= Latin for 'strength'. This little guy can't possibly look any more British.

@jcarnutz The sun's reflection off the bonnet must have been blinding but you can just picture it motoring down those narrow British country roads being driven by a uniformed RAF captain.... or someone named 'Nigel'.

I remember FMs spiel on this, "a real wood dash". Sold my damaged one years ago, gotta find another now, great pics thanks Rich.
