I don`t know the answer to that John.......this piece,like many others I own,came to me in a distressed state.....I`d assumed that a different plastic was used for a portion of the production run

Is it possible, at least in part, that it may be a reflection from the top of the car carrier????

That doesn`t seem to be the case here.......maybe the car was on display at the Gamma Ray Lab....over across town
