In 1967 Mustang was completely redesigned yet maintained its signature styling cues.  Mustang was now longer and wider, with a redesigned engine compartment allowing the 390cid V-8 big block to be added to its engine line-up.  The pony car war was now in full swing, with the introduction of the new Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird, and the redesigned Plymouth Barracuda.

Very nice. In 1967, the Mustang would have been my choice.

It is a shame that we do not have many 67 Mopars in diecast form to share as well.  The 67 Charger is one of my all time favorites, and I missed the one from Danbury.  I have 3 of them from CMW in Silver, Black and Red.

Excellent writeup Pete. I have all of the models shown with the Lime Gold being my favorite.

The Stang would have been my choice in 67 too, but Camaro SS 396 in '68.

Thank you all.  I would have chosen the '67 Mustang as well.  In the late

'70s I had two '67 Mustang coupes. I paid $200 for lime gold deluxe coupe and $250 for the Umber coupe with a blown motor.  I fixed it up and painted it Acapulco blue.
