Another model showed up at my door last week, FM's 1971 Plymouth GTX in Burnished Red Poly.  I've been trying to get a decent one for a while now and was able to win this one on eBay at a pretty good price.  Very nice car with only one issue, the photo-etched "X" of GTX is missing on the right side.  I got out the Future floor polish and sealed the emblems to prevent any more letters from falling off.  Many 1971 GTXs I've seen (both red and black) seem to have this problem.  Anyway, I'm happy to add this one to my muscle car collection and share it with y'all.

Nice Pete, I have the yellow version. Car has a real 'grunt' look about it to me.

LOVE the color and the front stripe treatment. But also love both the yellow and blue versions - that blue one is probably my favorite!

Good deal Pete. Always nice to find a wanted addition to the collection.

Pete, that's an exceptional trio. What a great catch. 😎  I have the Monogram '71 GTX in my stash, that makes me want to dig it out lol.

Great finds Pete and certainly nice additions!  I like the model a lot, but have to be honest and say, the "white stripe and white interior" are huge no-no's for me.  The stripe is distracting to my eyes and the interior I've never understood.  But know, I'd add all of them to my parking lot in a heartbeat.  Smile

I agree with you on the white.  Black might have been a better choice, but the white sure stands out! FM's black GTX has black interior and a black stripe which you can barely see. I wouldn't mind having one though!

+1  I prefer the earlier generation but these are really nice; especially that blue one.

Pete, thanks for the photos.  I have all 5 of the renditions.  Black, Burnt Poly Red, Yellow, Blue and Red.  One of my favorite Plymouths from the GTX/Roadrunner days.  Loved the nose on these.

Now this is a black beauty!  The white stripe is not a distraction.  It's subtle and complimenting.
