Finished, took forever! Still a couple of stuffups. I cant seem to spray paint properly, cannot get an even all round coat. While dexterity is improving, still the odd unsightly glue spot. And do not know what happened with the hood fit. When I test fitted it was fine, then for the final push? I would have liked to be able to remove the truck body but cannot because of a fixed rear bumper. So we have a "static" model.

Still I'm pretty happy with my fourth effort after 60 years. 2 others Cadillac and Rolls are at a temporary halt waiting on parts. Next project is a Model T Express truck with a real timber tray.

Geoff, looks good, I would think the painting would improve with practice.... I too have had difficulty with the painting in my couple of attempts, two I turned into junkyard models..

quite a good looking effort and a fine subject choice Geoff !......painting that turns out like just you wanted is a mixture of temperature, humidity, thickness of layers, sorcery, and some sort of token burnt offering.......

stay with it !!.....jB
