I picture this car being driven by Hugh Hefner's idea of the  outdoors man who reads his magazine... red and green flannel shirt, khaki pants, a floppy brimmed fedora and smoking a pipe with his hunting dog by his side. The '48 Ford Sportsman is just the perfect car for "What kind of man reads Playboy?". I love the yellow with all that natural looking faux wood on this model by DM.

Love it. GREAT photos!! Although I can also see someone like Lauren Bacall driving this one. Remember the "Dark Passage" car she drove, very near to this one? A 1947 Ford Woody Station Wagon. I fell in love instantly.........uh, with the car of course.
