My DM silver 59 convertible is suffering from the dreaded diecast cancer.
@bob-jackman Oh man, I hate to hear that Bob. I'd wanted to add that to my collection so many times. Every one I've ever seen on Ebay had the same issue, and they were still trying to get big money for them. I don't know if they ever sold or if the sellers gave up. I haven't seen one in awhile. 😟
@geno True classics Geno, I lost out on the gray ‘59 a couple of years ago, now they’ve way out of my league!
Geno, I have a couple of 50's early 60's Chevy's only to have in my collection, but I never really took a liking to either of them from the looks standpoint.
@carsman1958 lol, I understand John. We all love different styles. That's what makes us unique. 💯😁
great shot Geno, sorry to hear that Bob. Mine is holding up to this point. I have this and WCPD copper and beige hardtop, and DMs white 60. I recall the 59s selling in Australia, not so much the 60s. 59s made a huge impression with those fins!
@geoff-jowett Yes Geoff I also have the WCPD 59 convertible and hardtop which helps ease the pain of the DM model.
Love those two. Although I would prefer the hard top versions.
Sadly, mine was lost to the dreaded rot. It literally bent in half, one of the doors fell off. I donated it to the trash bin.
