Sometimes a model is so well done that it begs for exploration. This '39 Ford Deluxe V8 Cabriolet by Franklin Mint at its best, is just such a model. Finished in a beautiful dark blue accented in luscious brown tones in the exterior and top, this model excels in details and functionality. Exploring this model revealed a few surprises answering questions I never thought to ask. The one that tickled me the most was the discovery of "Where the heck did they put the spare tire?". LOL

The spot for the tire looks inventive, but unfortunately it doesn't look very convenient-not easy to remove when needed.

@bob-jackman I always think of this model as one of TFM's swan songs.... it was only down hill from there.
