A perfect springtime scene!
One of my favorite DM Chrysler's. Your pics and setting highlights the model perfectly.

Beautiful Pictures as usual of a wonderful Mopar.
Another one I almost bought......more regrets! It's a beauty and I like it much more as a model than the actual car.
Jack I agree with you. Glad to have the model.
Sad to hear that you missed this one. It is, along with the other paint versions of it, some of the best models given us by DM. I think Chrysler's for '57 and '58 were smashing homeruns and the best cars from the corporation in the fifties.

I feel the same way about the '55 & '56 Chryslers.
I agree with you that the '55 and '56 Chryslers are nice looking cars, but I think the DeSoto's for those two years are better looking.

@georgeschire I agree with you George; the DeSotos are nicer looking.

I think the '56 DeSoto was the best looking of all DeSoto's. After '56, their styling got radical in appearance. At least to my eyes.

@georgeschire My favorite year for DeSoto was 1955. I prefer the more understated tail lights and rear quarter styling, but like the '56 very much as well. Back in the day I didn't care much for the '57/'58 DeSoto design but warmed up considerably to the '59 and '60. I like them all today though; simply because of the styling statement they make and how they represent the era. I notice that the '57 thru '61s sure get the attention at car shows!

I'm with you Jack. Back in the day there were cars that I wasn't fond of, but over the decades and I'm sure with age, I've come to love all 40's, '50's, and 60's cars for what each of them brought to the era.

This beauty is in my fleet too along with the Cloud White 300c , and the turquoise NYker convertible. I modified the suspension to sit at proper ride height while still maintaining functionality. I love these DM 57s they’re great models
