John, great photos. I do not have this model as I really do not collect European or 30's model years cars. But I might have to reconsider as this looks really nicely done by FM.
Have it, love it. FM did an excellent job on this model.
That is a beautiful model. Someday I would like to see it.

@rich-sufficool Is the 8C Superleggera Lungo coupe also a FM model ? I have the 2900B Roadster in black they would make a lovely pair..
@diecast1-24cars The model was by "White Box". It has nowhere near the parts count of the FM but it makes a decent display piece.
@rich-sufficool That's a model I wish I had! I have search endlessly for one with no luck.

@geoff-jowett Thanks but no I haven't searched those makers. I have the black FM model so I wanted the black coupe when I saw it. I have search under
"white-box" but no luck. I will try the others...

The blue Lungo in Geoff's post is the original model made for the Hachette Alfa Romeo series and resembles the original blue car with sunroof (video bellow). The black model by whitebox was made from the same molds but does not resemble an original car. I also have the blue one and decided not to buy the black one when it was available on the American-excellence website. Both are hard to find now, but probably they show for sale occasionally.
Here is one that sold 2 weeks ago:

and a blue one for sale from Italy
