WOW! There's yellow, and then there's YELLOW!
Yellow is my favorite color. Now, if only the little T-Birds were my favorite car, I'd have this model. But alas, I passed on it. And all is well because the yellow sun still comes up in the east each morning.

Somehow I wound up with 3 56 T'birds including this one, which is my favorite.
@geoff-jowett I have 3 FM including the yellow, 2 DM, 4 Crown Premiums, all 56's. Have a few 55's and the one and only 57 from DM.

I love T'Birds John, all of the 3 year design series up to 1965. From those available from the mints I almost have at least one hardtop and one convertible from each of the 3 year design periods. I'm missing DMs blue 55 convertible and one of the 2 available 61-63 hardtops. I've just missed the beige 61 a couple of times so hopefully in time I will add it, but the blue 55 convertible is a bit of a lost cause, very, very rarely ever see it for sale.
Thunderbirds never sold here in Australia but I used to love seeing them in American TV shows, particularly this one:
Have it, love it, great pics.

I have all of the FM and DM Thunderbirds except the 55 race car. I owned a 55 in Goldenrod Yellow and still own my 1963 Sports Roadster in Champaign. The prize in my collection is the DM 1962 Sport Roadster wihich Pete Rovero did in Costillon Gold which on 63 became Champaign. Love the picture Geoff.
@bob-jackman Bob I recall seeing the DM 1962 Sport Roadster before Pete sent it to you, beautiful. Couple more from my favorite TV show as an 11-12 year old.
With the later 61. I recall now I made 61 from a kit around the time.
And I ordered this the day DM announced it!
Geoff, I too ordered the T-Bucket the day DM announced it.
