Continuing with the Ford Fairlane Models issued by the Mints. Today I'll take a look at the Sunliner Convertibles for 1955. 

Originally issued in 1998, a Limited Edition of 5000. It is in Waterfall Blue & Aquatone Blue.

The '55-'56 Ford Fairlane was IMHO the best looking Ford ever made.

I'm with you Jack.  But I do give an edge to the '56.  I think the tweaks that were made on it, improved on the already nice '55.  Especially the grill and parking lights, the '56 got them perfect.  And also, the dash of the '56 was the best improvement IMO.

I have both and like both!  The thing that was cool about the '55 ('56 too) Ford's was that there was no bad two-tone color combination on them.  They were gorgeous in every color combination.  Nice models that have stood the test of time.

I agree 100% with your comments George; plus the minor tail light and trim changes improved the look in '56.

I wish Goldvarg or GLM would do these two Ford Victoria HTs.  I know Sergio is bringing out the '55 Ford Country Squire wagon this year.

Yup that '56 dash is a great improvement over the '55.
