A continued look at some of the wonderful models issued by WCPD. These two are my favorite of the '64 models issued. Originally released as Limited Editions of 250 each. When released in 2006, the model was available in 15 factory colors, all of the colors issued for the '64 Impala. WCPD issued these colors in both hardtop and convertible forms. Quite an undertaking if one wanted a representation of each color and even more so if one wanted both the hardtops and convertibles of each. Well, it took some time, but I've acquired them all.
1964 Chevrolet Impala SS 409 Hardtop Coupe in Ermine White #216 and Tuxedo Black, a special LE w/a gray interior, a model that was bonus if all 30 models were purchased.

I've got a representation of each of the models that WCPD made but certainly not every color. Space and finances limit my buying.
I'm pretty close to that too Bob, I have a hardtop and convertible of each except for the 59 convertible where I have the DM. I cant ever understand what happened to WCPD. Perhaps there is someone with extensive business acumen and marketing expertise who can? As always great pics, thank you JohnI've got a representation of each of the models that WCPD made but certainly not every color. Space and finances limit my buying.
John that was quite an undertaking to get them all. I only have on WCPD model and it is the Meadow Green Hardtop. Wish I had more of the WCPD models. They are outstanding.
It took some time (several years) and patience to get them all. I don’t display them all at once. Just different colors in themed displays from time to time. When my new display cabinets are finally finished, I hope to have them all out.

Those are gorgeous John. I wish Brian could have kept things going. I only have the green/cream '59 ht. and the '59 sedan delivery in crown sapphire. I did have a '59 flat top and a '57 Olds on pre-order. I wanted those really bad. I don't recall why Brian ended production.😥
@jcarnutz John, given the model numbers I am envisioning, that finished display project of yours might be termed a model museum rather than a display. You could have the northern museum and Sergio could be the southern location!
