This is my favorite year Mercury of this 3 year body design. DM did a very nice job on this one.

an eye catching (and pleasing) set John......you can sense the sharp aromas of leaf mold and wet straw carried on the air of the freeze/thaw cycles.....by late afternoon,it will all be frozen over again..............the car must have recently been washed in place to be so pristine in such challenging conditions

The second 1:24 scale diecast I purchased. After buying my first one, the Blue'57 Chevy convertible, seeing this Black '49 Mercury in the Sunday newspaper supplement "Parade Magazine", I ordered it, still not realizing that I was headed to addiction. Â
